It makes my spine tingle; my teeth grit, my muscles tense.
You make my eyes dry, holding all dignity; my face like stone, my mind blank.
There's words to be read; taken. forgotten. replaced. promise.
I saw this all differently when it had been new and untainted; innocent. fun.
My lips have grown tired; cracked. Bloody.
Tired of kissing & bargaining. Lying.
I refused, non-compliant, overwhelmed, unsure.
I was right, perfect aim. right on target.
When I leave, I won't cry, I won't smile;
No farewell to be replayed.
Simply because, You make my eyes dry. I'll hold my dignity.
With a face like stone, I'll say goodbye then walk away.

Snowflakes
You didn't care if I was dead or alive.
You wouldn't see me.
You didn't want to stop the bleeding.
You stayed in solitude, happy without me.
You stopped telling me you loved me.
You never told me I was beautiful.
You left me wanting anything from anybody.
What did I do so wrong?
What is so wrong with me?

Snow White Syndrom
Muscles stiffen as the current sweeps me out to sea.
The farther I drift from you, the more I focus on me.
You watch at the bay as I struggle to not drown.
I, then, began to float once I'd stopped flailing around.
I lost sight of you when you had left me to die.
I gave up when I found that I'd already died inside.
My bones were broken, my lips were scabbed.
The laughter through tears; the only memories I have.
I'll swim to the city without a second thought, dear.
Before I go, I'll leave here, all of my fear.
There's no escape from the fate that's in store,
But, I'll be damned if I give you all I have, anymore.
There's cyanide in apples, you once let me know.
If I must eat cyanide to eat apples, I suppose I'll do so.

Beauty Is Shapeless
Has one ever looked at the ocean and whined,
"The sea is so ugly. It is too vast."
When trees loom we do not cry that they are too tall.
When clouds fill the sky,
not one person laments over their billowing shape.
Is a trees branches more beautiful than it's trunk,
because they have less matter?
Is an aspen more radiant than a sycamore,
because it is less voluminous?
Will anyone dare to tell me that a sparrow is more loved than an owl,
the reason being that the sparrow needs less room to fly?
You are a fool if you do not see;
See that women and men are just as much a part of nature.
How dare you speak of what is good, bad, handsome or ugly,
When you do not wish to find its truth.
To those who can not see beauty;
You will forever be searching.
